At ANALYTICS we understand that many people view laboratory services as commodities and we realize that we need to distinguish ourselves from other laboratories. We offer a number of services that we feel differentiate ANALYTICS from other laboratories:
Specialty Organic Analyses
These include herbicides, pesticides and PCB congeners. Additionally, ANALYTICS is able to develop methods and obtain standards in order to analyze for chemicals that do not commonly appear on laboratory price sheets.
ANALYTICS prides itself on our ability to conduct analyses that do not require a "cookie-cutter" approach. Our staff is eager to research and develop methods that are outside our day-to-day practice.
ANALYTICS has recently provided this type of service to a number of different Clients including a food manufacturer wishing to analyze packaging for trace amounts of uncommon pesticides (i.e., not listed in the EPA methods).
ANALYTICS' Staff had to assess the availability of standards, develop the methods, run a performance-based method development study, establish matrix quantitation limits, calibrate our instruments and demonstrate our
capability to perform the analysis. The results? ANALYTICS provided our Client with high quality data - that he was not able to find anywhere else - in a timely fashion so he could proceed with making business decisions about inventory.
ANALYTICS has also supported a number of Clients in assessing performance of bioremediation projects by providing method development and analytical services for a variety of pesticides and their breakdown products. Many other laboratories contract
with ANALYTICS to provide them with analyses for pesticides, herbicides and other specialty organics.
Dependability
You can count on ANALYTICS to deliver what you want when you want it. If you ask us for 24-hour turnaround time (TAT) we tell you up front that we can do it - or not, depending on the workload we have in-house at that time. We feel it is more important
for us to be honest and tell you if we have doubts about our ability to deliver than it is for us to say "yes". Many of our Clients come to us after their other laboratories have failed on quick TAT or difficult analyses and often say they wished
they had begun with us.
Data Interpretation
We love data! We love to generate, check, and interpret data. Our staff has training in geology, environmental science and chemistry disciplines and we are enthusiastic about our Clients' data and are eager to discuss your questions or concerns about your
data. We have supported leading edge projects all over the Northeast for over 15 years - chances are, we have seen situations similar to those you are working on right now. Our ability to communicate data verbally and/or in writing combined with
our willingness to so do sets us apart.
Technical Presentations
ANALYTICS is pleased to be able to provide our clients with high quality technical presentations on a variety of topics. These one-hour "brown bag" seminars at your office can address such topics as:
Diesel Range Organics (DRO)/Gasoline Range Organics (GRO),
Quality Assurance/Quality Control Issues (i.e., Reporting Limits and Detection Limits, Lessons Learned, MS/MSD, How to Use QC Data, etc.) and
a variety of other topics of interest to our Clients.
In addition to one-hour complimentary technical sessions, ANALYTICS is able to provide Hazardous Waste, Department of Transportation (DOT) and training meeting a variety of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Requirements. Please
