Project Description:
ANALYTICS was contracted for this U.S. Navy funded work to conduct analyses to assist
in the remediation of several disposal sites at a Naval Site.
Rapid turnaround analyses were used to evaluate the cleanup of petroleum and PCB-contaminated
soils. Many samples were submitted for 48-hr. TAT with 100% completion within the requested TAT.
State of Maine Disposal and Navy-approved analyses were performed for Volatile Organic Compound
(VOC) by EPA Method 8260B on 45 soil samples and 50 water samples collected over a two-month
period. Analytical deliverables included a faxed Form I data report within 2 weeks and a Level
IV CLP-type report within 30 days.
