In January 2010, ANALYTICS received certification from the Department of Defense (DoD) Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP). This new certification (or accreditation) was developed in 2009 through an inter-agency workgroup and it provides specific laboratory certification for labs working at Military and Federal sites. It replaces previous certification programs run by the Army, Navy and Air Force and is conducted by third-party assessment agencies that conduct an audit and thorough review of all the quality systems and procedures in the laboratory. The DoD ELAP program is similar to the ISO 17025 certification for laboratories.
At this time, ANALYTICS is one of a select group of laboratories in the country to achieve this prestigious accreditation.
